Festive for Fall: Recipes for the Changing Seasons

It’s finally October! We’ve been pulling recipes out of our Autumn DIY Kit to get ready for the cooler weather.

Today, we made our favorite DIY Skin Balm and Autumn Stroll Foaming Soap. Whether you make these recipes for yourself or share them with friends and family, they’re sure to be a hit!

8 oz. Clear Plastic Heavy Wall Jar
Bees Wax
Almond Oil
Shea Butter
250 ml Plastic Foamer Bottle
Glycerin

 

Skin Balm

8oz clear plastic heavy wall jar
3 tbsp beeswax
½ cup coconut oil
2 tbsp almond oil
2 tbsp shea butter
10 drops melaleuca
10 drops lavender

Melt the beeswax, coconut oil, and shea butter together in the microwave. Microwave in 30 second increments, it should take about 2 minutes total. Beeswax will be the last thing to melt. Once melted, add the almond oil and essential oils and pour into the jar. Let cool to set.

 

Autumn Stroll Foaming Soap

250 ml foamer bottle
½ cup Water
1 1/2 oz Castile Soap
1 1/2 oz Glycerin
2 Bergamot
2 Juniper Berry
3 white Fir
3 Frankincense

Pour water into the container leaving enough room for the other ingredients and to put the pump lid back on. Add liquid castile soap, glycerin, and essential oils. Replace the pump lid, dispense soap as needed, and enjoy!
